Coverage, as published
Optics: lifetime coverage on housing and glass with 5-year LED coverage, remedied by repair or replacement with a C&H Precision Optics product of similar type and equal or greater value; products bought from approved dealers are honored as if bought direct. Adapter plates are handled separately: C&H replaces the most recent generation of a plate that failed under normal conditions when mounted and maintained properly, while superseded designs get an upgrade discount rather than full warranty. Slide finishing work is guaranteed for 1 year from ship date.
Exclusions, as published
Normal wear and tear of any part including knobs and finish; damage from modification, aftermarket finishes, unauthorized service, improper maintenance or acts of nature; subjective personal likes or judgments. The optics warranty is void if modification or maintenance is performed by anyone other than C&H Precision Optics, plate stacking with any C&H product voids the plate warranty, unapproved alterations void all warranty, and holster wear on slide finishes is not covered.
Manufacturer support
Warranty service is handled directly by C&H Precision in Richmond Hill, Georgia; products sold by approved dealers receive the same coverage as direct purchases.
Both the housing and electronics terms are qualified to normal, personal use; duty or professional use is not addressed in the published warranty.
C&H Precision reliability across the lineup
2 models tracked in the reliability database across 10 sources , 7 first-hand.
Small sample: only 2 models from this brand are tracked so far, which is too thin to characterize the lineup as a whole. Read it as evidence about those models, not about the brand.

- C&H Precision EDC Enclosed (RMSc footprint) medium
Documented failure modes
- C&H Precision Duty (Closed Emitter, ACRO Footprint): rapid battery drain (unverified, single forum report) . One forum owner reported going through 3 CR2032 batteries in about 3 weeks (roughly 1,000 rounds) despite manually shutting the optic off between uses, all batteries stated as brand new. Other owners in the same thread reported no battery drain after ~2 months of carry. Single unverified forum report, not corroborated elsewhere; treated as an isolated possible defective-unit or bad-battery-lot report rather than a systemic issue.
Aggregated from others' first-hand testing, not our own. We surface a sourced reputation tier rather than inventing a score the evidence cannot support. Full reliability data →
