Tacticon discontinued its warranty program in January 2026: the FAQ captured before the site went offline states that all products are no longer eligible for warranty coverage and that all sales are final, and tacticon.com itself stopped resolving in 2026. Treat these optics as sold without a manufacturer warranty; Tacticon itself accepts no returns or exchanges.

Tacticon's FAQ, in the last Wayback capture that rendered before tacticon.com went DNS-dead (2026-01-03), states: 'Our warranty program has been discontinued, and all products are no longer eligible for warranty coverage' and 'All Sales are FINAL: Products Cannot be returned or exchanged.' Terms as published until at least 2025-07-09: manufacturing defects - if the product failed or malfunctioned due to a manufacturing defect, Tacticon replaced it at no cost (whole-product replacement, not repair), separately backed by a '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' allowing return/exchange for a refund on or before 60 days from the purchase date.

About Tacticon
Tacticon is the hardest brand on this site to write about honestly, and the reason is worth stating up front: tacticon.com went dark in 2026. It has had no DNS record since at least September 2026, and the last capture of the site that still rendered is from January 3, 2026. Before that it rendered entirely in the browser and returned nothing usable to a direct read, so most of what circulates about the company traces to business-data aggregators rather than to the company itself. What follows is flagged accordingly.
Those aggregator sources put the founding in February 2015 and the offices in Rancho Cordova, California, and describe a service-disabled veteran-owned small business started by an Afghanistan combat veteran. The veteran-owned framing also appears in the company’s own page titles as captured by search engines. None of it could be confirmed against a primary Tacticon page in this pass, so treat the founding date, the location and the ownership story as unverified rather than established. We would rather say that than present aggregator data as company fact.
Where Tacticon is manufactured is not stated anywhere we could source. Secondary profiles describe a mix of in-house work at the California facility and overseas sourcing without naming a country for the optics specifically, which is not enough to put a flag on the page.
Commercially the brand sat at the bottom of the price range, selling reflex sights, lights and lasers direct to consumers from its own site, largely to first-time buyers outfitting a rifle on a tight budget. With that site gone, the optics we cover still list at Amazon and OpticsPlanet, so they can be bought, but not from the company. No procurement record exists on the duty side, and the distinction matters here: veteran ownership is a company-history fact, not an adoption one, and the two get conflated in this corner of the market more than they should.
The warranty is the one company fact we can now state from a primary source, and it is bad news.
