As published: the warranty "Does not cover cosmetic damage that does not affect the function of the product", "Does not cover improper usage - meaning damage or loss resulting from the misuse or incorrect application of the item", "Does not cover products that have been intentionally damaged or disassembled", and "Does not cover scope accessories included with the scope." Shipping is on the owner: "Customer will be responsible for return postage." Second-hand and grey-market units are outside it, because coverage runs to new products bought from Monstrum or an official dealer with proof of purchase. Closeout and open-box items "do not fall under the same lifetime warranty policy. These items include a 1 year warranty", and "Discontinued scopes purchased before 2020 do not fall under the current lifetime warranty." Registration is offered rather than required: Monstrum says "Registering your warranty guarantees your product for replacement/repair service and records off-site purchases with Monstrum", while the warranty terms themselves ask only for proof of purchase, so registration is not recorded here as a condition.
